Software Engineer at Sysco LABS & 2x AWS Community Builder
Started position as Software Engineer at Sysco LABS Sri Lanka. Selected for the AWS Community Builders Program for the second consecutive year in the Serverless category. Completed final year research project at University of Moratuwa building sentence-level NLP word correction and safety layers for ancient Sinhala Ayurvedic palm-leaf manuscripts.
AWS Certified Solutions Architect & Rootcode Internship
Achieved AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate (SAA-C03) certification. Completed Software Engineer Internship at Rootcode (Jan-Jun 2025), building real-time alert systems for Porto Government (Clamigo) and pub/sub streaming layers for 8M+ user AI systems — part of the NBQSA 2025 Gold Award winning team. Won 1st Place at SDG Youth Challenge 2025 (ICBI) with AspiraGuard clinical wearable platform. Co-organized AWS Community Day Sri Lanka 2025.
IEEE Leadership & Technical Writing
Served as Web Team Lead for IEEE Student Branch University of Moratuwa, leading RiseUpMora web platform connecting 500+ students. Published technical articles on AWS serverless, GCP Pub/Sub, and database architecture. Achieved 3rd place at Openhack 2.0 and Top 15 at RealHack 4.0. Joined MoraSpirit Web & Technology team as Developer.
University Journey Begins
Started BSc (Hons) in Information Technology and Management at University of Moratuwa. Achieved Dean's List recognition in L1S1 (SGPA 4.00) and L1S2 (SGPA 3.93). Joined IEEE Student Branch University of Moratuwa. Active open-source contributor in Hacktoberfest.

Completed Comprehensive Master Java Developer program at Institute of Software Engineering (Nov 2021 - 2022), gaining deep foundational knowledge in Java, OOP, Web Technologies, and Software Engineering principles.
Richmond College - A/L
Completed G.C.E. (A/L) at Richmond College, Galle. Active leader in the Richmond College IT Society, laying the foundation for a career in software engineering.

- Won 1st Place (Gold) at the National Best Quality Software Awards (NBQSA) 2025 for the 'Clamigo' project

- Team Nebula from the University of Moratuwa emerged as 3rd place in a 12-hour hackathon

- Managed to be in the top 15 at the RealHack hackathon
