AWS Community Builder & Rootcode Internship
Achieved AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate (SAA-C03) certification, validating expertise in designing distributed systems. Selected as AWS Community Builder in March 2025, contributing to the cloud-native community. Organized AWS Community Day Sri Lanka 2025 as Organizer/Volunteer/Speaker. Won AWS Community Day Sri Lanka Quiz, receiving AWS Swags and Credits. Completed Full-time Software Engineer Internship at Rootcode (Feb-Aug 2025), working on Clamigo (Porto Government) and BRP Gym System projects. Built real-time systems on AWS, developed admin dashboards, and delivered a Cloud Community talk on serverless content moderation. Represented Rootcode's AI team at NBQSA 2025. Finalist at Make-a-Thon 2025 (Top 7 & Top 3 'Most Liked Project') for assistive medical device innovation. Started as Associate Software Engineer at Enlear (Aug-Nov 2025).



Technical Writing & Software Engineering
Started as Technical Writer at Enlear (Feb 2024 - Present), writing for leading platforms including Bit.dev, CodiumAI, Syncfusion, MVPGrow, and BrightData. Worked as Part-time Software Engineer at Adalex Technologies (Oct 2024 - Oct 2025), developing Glitz and Clicks SaaS platform - a full-stack event media platform (PWA) that acquired 40+ customers. Completed Full-time Software Engineer Internship at Macro Labs (Jun-Sep 2024), working on microservices with Go, Next.js, NestJS, and AWS. Joined AWS User Group Colombo as Member.
IEEE Leadership & Hackathon Success
Served as Web Team Lead for IEEE Student Branch University of Moratuwa, leading RiseUpMora 2023 web team. Contributed to IEEExtreme 16.0 and MoraXtreme 7.0 hackathon organizing committees. Achieved 3rd place at Openhack 2.0 and Top 15 at RealHack 4.0. Transitioned to MoraSpirit Web & Technology Pillar (Developer) in June 2023. Joined DevLabs as Origin Member and Developer in January 2023. Started working on Sri Lanka University Games App and Hostel Management System projects. Won Hacktoberfest 2023 swags.


University Journey Begins
Started BSc (Hons) in Information Technology and Management at University of Moratuwa. Achieved Dean's List in L1S1 (SGPA 4.00) and L1S2 (SGPA 3.93). Joined IEEE Student Branch University of Moratuwa as Web Team Lead. Joined MoraSpirit as Video Pillar (Videographer & Editor). Participated in Hacktoberfest 2022, contributing to open source projects and winning swags.

Institute of Software Engineering
Completed Comprehensive Master Java Developer program at Institute of Software Engineering (Nov 2021 - 2022), gaining knowledge about Java, Web Technologies, and Software Engineering skills from industry professionals and lecturers.
Richmond College - A/L
Completed G.C.E. (A/L) in 2020 with Grade 1A & 2B's. Active member of the IT Society of Richmond College, which helped begin the IT journey as a school student.

- Developed AspiraGuard: A wearable solution for early detection of silent aspiration in adult stroke patients, integrated with an AI-powered mobile app

- Top 7 Finalist & Top 3 'Most Liked Project'
- Selected as a finalist in a 3-day consecutive Make-a-Thon and competition focused on developing assistive medical devices
- Department of Disability Studies, Faculty of Medicine – University of Kelaniya (Sponsored by Japan FabLab)
- Collaborated in a multidisciplinary team to design and successfully deliver two custom medical solutions for a patient experiencing severe hand nerve damage due to an electrical shock—impairing their writing and driving abilities
- Event was funded and sponsored by Japan FabLab, aimed at real-world impact through human-centered design

- Team Nebula from the University of Moratuwa emerged as 3rd place in a 12-hour hackathon
- Competed in a challenging hackathon organized by IIT on premises
- Demonstrated strong problem-solving and teamwork skills
